Pulse to tone converter.

This is a project that is at the prototype stage. Please Email me if you would like us to contact you when it is available to buy. The price has not been finalised but was much trickier than was first anticipated. I estimate the final retail price will be around £40.

The unit will be a small box that is plugged into any wall socket and will convert the pulse dial signal from any number of telephones in the house to a tone. Only one unit is needed per line and not for each telephone. The unit will be powered by 3 AAA batteries. This project has now been abandoned due to its complexity anfd the guy that was doing it for me has no more time to move it forward.

I can now convert any 700 series telephone to tone dialling only. This will enable it to be used on any network that is unable to read pulse dialling. The added bonus is it will also have a * and # and will have a last number redial and store up to 7 numbers.

Nothing inside the telephone is destroyed and could easily be reversed at a later date. The dial is operated in the same way for normal dialling and only for using the extra features do you need to hold the dial on specific numbers.

I can fit any 700 series I sell with one of these units at an extra £50 and should be available later on with both 200 and 300 series models. It is also possible that Trimphones could also be modified.
