This has been totally stripped down cleaned and re built. It has no re painting or plating and has been kept as near original as possible. It has its original cords and a very rare daffodil transmitter with dial label holder. The paint and metal work has some minor imperfections but I wanted this one to be original. As you can see it looks wonderful and is wired up to a GPO configuration No1 bell box that started life as a rare No5 and retains the wiring diagram all be it crossed through by the GPO. The stem is dated 1923 and marked No2 although it is a No150 but looks like they forgot to cross through when upgraded with a dial when GPO refurbished or built from the stores. It has been wired up to work perfectly to both dial out and receive and the only modern parts are the electronic microphone and the line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket. The dial label is a copy of an original and the number on the dial card and on the mouthpiece has been made to match. This is a one off and so if interested don't wait till its too late. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge if preferred.
