This is a great item and because I have never had one I imagine quite rare. It has been cleaned and wired to work as a normal telephone without the need for coins. This one is dated 1970 and so quite early having the alpha numerical outside dial ring from the 706 desk set. The bell set is the earlier No47. The telephone appears to be all original and I have simply wired it up as a standard telephone without any modification to the internal. The paintwork is original and so has some minor scratches and chips but still in excellent condition. The coin box is missing as is the back plate that I believe had a carny handle. None of this is needed and this will not need to be mounted to a wall as it sits on four rubber feet and would look great in an alcove such as the one I have photographed it in. The dial is a GPO No21 with a proper stainless steel finger wheel and dial label clip etc. Ready to simply plug in and go. It has no keys and because it is open will not need them. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
