This telephone has been stripped down and re built after each part has been cleaned and polished. As you can see it is a fine example and has been fitted with an electronic microphone, and a GPO specification round plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket. The handset is a GPO 164 dated 1949 with genuine GPO braided handset cord and the internals are GPO 1951. The dial is a C24 all metal dial from the 1940s-50s. It is fully working to both dial out and receive perfectly. The enamel dial face has some rubbing to the numbers but as you can see still very good. This one has no drawer and so is being offered at a lower price.
