This telephone has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has the correct internal switching unit and is fully wired up to work correctly. The handset is dated 1948 and retains its GPO No10 dial with alpha numeric face. This telephone and dial has been set up using a special line simulator to make sure it will work on both cable and copper wire networks. It has been tested on our own BT line to make sure it is working perfectly. As you can see this is a very nice example of a very sought after telephone. I have fitted a very best quality all British manufactured hand plaited braided hand set cord, an electronic microphone and a GPO specification round plastic line in with a UK telephone plug socket. The bell on bell off buttons are fully working and wired up through the original mechanical internal switch mecanism. I can make a dial label with your information at no extra charge.
