As you can see this is a lovely telephone. It has been totally stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has a lovely GPO No 12 with alpha numeric dial face. It retains a very good condition genuine GPO braided cord and has been fitted with a very best quality round plastic ivory line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket and an electronic microphone to bring speech quality up to modern standards. If you look very closely to the pictures you will see the the body, base, drawer front and knob and the "T" bar is quite white with some slight crazing and actually looks very nicely aged. These parts are around 1938 and the cradle handset is later early 1950s with the handset dated 1952. The rear cradle legs are slightly shorter in length but I don't think you would have known unless I told you. The internals are original genuine 1950s and is set up to work perfectly to both dial out and receive. This model of telephone was designed to have an external bell and so I can fit a small internal bell at no extra charge. Please add a note in the checkout form when purchasing. I can fit a dial label with your own information included in the price.
