Black 332L with blanking plate. C1937

Something a little different.

SOLD

This is an early 332. The handset is marked C164 37 and so was made by GEC in 1937. The base is unmarked and the internals are the earlier type with the sleeved switch hook plungers.  The dial is the earlier GPO No10 and it has a black label holder. This is how it came and so I have left it all as is.  I am not saying this for any other reason than it may be of interest to the buyer and not to enhance its worth in any way.  It has been stripped down and reassembled after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has been fully set up to work correctly using a line simulator to allow me to set the make break and speed of the dial etc.  It was then plugged into my BT lien to make sure it is working perfectly.  I have fitted an electronic microphone; a very best quality hand plaited braided cord and a GPO specification round plastic line in with a UK telephone plug socket. The dial label fitted is a GEC type and I can add you r own number to this style or use a period GPO label with your details. Please state what you require by filling in the “your notice to us” in the check out.
