SOLD

This is from a batch of I bought a while ago and imported from India. They were made in the UK (Woolwich) and would have been exported in the 1930s? There are now only three remaining and this is your last chance. I have kept the price down to £325 even though a very large amount of work has gone into them. This has been stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. Any internal components in this telephone have been retained although some of the wiring has been replaced. I have fitted a genuine GPO No 10 dial with an original enamel dial face. The bell coils were not restorable and so I have changed them with almost identical new old stock 1970s replacements. The original bells have been retained and the telephone works perfectly. I have also fitted a best quality reproduction hand plaited hand set cord; an electronic microphone and a GPO specification round plastic line in with a UK plug socket. It is ready to simply plug in and go. The Bakelite parts are original to this telephone and have been cleaned and polished but do still have minor browning and use marks etc. This is a fabulous telephone and as you can see will make a wonderful addition to your period home. Date would be late 1930s – 1940s.

The ring on this telephone is very distinctive and beautiful.

I will fit a dial label with your information at no extra cost. Please state if you would like this type of label here or the old style GPO.

This is of course covered by our life time ownership guarantee see terms and conditions for full details.

These do not hang around for long and so don’t miss out this time as they are the last of the batch.
