This is a lovely little telephone made in the late 1970s. It is called the compact telephone (776) and as the name suggests is a neat little telephone that takes up very little space. This one has its own wall mounted bell set that the telephone sits on and has a lead long enough to sit on a nearby table etc. The bell set has a nice loud mechanical double bell ring and is adjustable from the front with a small lever. It is rare to find these with the wall bell and so it is unlikely you will find another if this is what you like. It has been fully restored and wired to simply plug into your UK telephone socket plug. I have fitted an electronic microphone to bring the speech quality up to modern standards.
