This is in wonderful condition with no fading and an original perfect handset cord. Note the original dial label and you are welcome to have a personalised one as well at no extra charge. The telephone has been stripped down and rebuilt after each part has been cleaned and polished. It has a genuine Enamel faced GPO number dial plate and as you can see the painted base with the marking to match the dial is in wonderful condition. It retails its original feet which can be replaced at no extra cost if you would prefer perfect GPO spec replacements. It is fully working to both dial out and receive and I can add a small internal bell which can be removed with no evidence of it having been fitted other than the diagram which can be replaced with a perfect copy. The only damage to this telephone is a crack directly under the dial at the weakest point. This often happens when the dial is fitted tightly as when these were made in the 1950s the plastic meets at this point when it is cooling in the mould before ejection. This telephone also comes with a GPO BT20/4 with a best quality hand plaited braided cord. The block is fitted with a GPO spec round plastic line in cord with a UK telephne plug socket fitting.
I have restored this telephone for "20th century antiques" so will need to be paid buy cheque, cash or bank transfer made out to them.
