All original with a genuine bell set.
This is a beautiful example of a genuine pre war ivory telephone. It has been totally stripped down and re built after each part has been cleaned and polished. This was as got it with no added or replaced parts other than an electronic microphone, a very best quality hand plaited braided handset cord, a GPO specification round plastic line in cord with a UK telephone plug socket, and a 1950s receiver unit to bring it up to modern speech quality. It has a beautiful and perfect GPO No10 alpha numeric dial dated 1950s. This was also stripped down and all parts were polished before re assembly. Please note this was made in 1937 and the internal p[arts are dated as such and also still has the rare GPO crested drawer from when new. It is a wonderful find. Some things to note are I have tried to keep everything together even if not perfect. The drawer has a small crack on the side corner and has been stabilised and the T bar has a small imperfection to the end. Both are pictured. The handset is slightly lighter but all original to the phone. Video coming soon.
